Tech Tips for ELT trainers–1: Computer Hardware

Every Monday, I’ll kick off the week by posting up a training video or a slideshare on technology and the English Language Classroom.

To start us off we’ll be looking at this video from the Commoncraft show on hardware.

Knowing how the computer works will help you understand all the other stuff you’re doing on it!

Don’t hesitate to let me know if you like(d) the video or if there is anything else in particular you would like to see. Simply click on the comments to communicate with me.

Hi Karenne! Aren't the Commoncraft people just great? I stumbled upon them looking for videos to play for my super-advanced student(a translator!!!)--I give her videos subtitled in Spanish with the sound and she does a sort of simultaneous translation reading from the screen and then we compare her version with the original, etc. etc...their videos are a goldmine of well-explained information that work great with language teaching. Good stuff!
